Our friends at the Communication Initiative Network are helping the global fight against polio with Daylife Content Apps, specifically the slideshow gallery. They aren’t using it just for photos though – they’ve embedded an entire presentation in the app, rich with data and images.

The presentation was originally delivered by Ellyn W. Ogden (USAID) and Rina Dey (CORE Group Polio Project India), who first delivered it at a 2011 meeting hosted by the Communication Initiative.

They’re celebrating the fact that India has been officially polio free for one year, and detailing the tactics used and lessons learned in reaching this milestone in India’s development. The page they’ve created (and on which the Daylife Content App is embedded) tells the whole story – stop by and take a look.
