Tom Seaver Fan Club :: Mets let Putz walk, 1 less free agent OF on the Market

According to the NY Post, The Mets will not pick up set up man JJ Putz option for the 2010 campaign. The Mets now must pay a 1 million dollar buyout instead of the 9.1 million option. Full Article at Sports Blogs
