The NFL has a very preferred status in our country with their antitrust exemption. The American people are entitled to be sure about the integrity of the game.
If there anything that irritates you from the coverage you get from the press?
I think it was the best way to make sure the Patriots followed my instructions ... to make sure that big of information would not appear anywhere again. If it did, I'd know they didn't hand me all the information . . . [that] they didn't tell me the truth.
I think what they did this year certainly was done within the NFL rules and on a level playing field ... I think their record is extraordinary; no team has ever gone 18-0 before and I think they should be congratulated for that.
