I feel honored that they would want to hear an Alaskan perspective on reform needed in government, and an Alaskan perspective on prosperity for our nation ... I don't think you're going to hear a message from anybody who embraces the status quo.

What I want to talk about is Senator McCain's proven record of bipartisanship ... how he's able throughout his career to work with people of his own party but also to work with the Democrats. I think that's the kind of leadership we need.
My message will be the same as when I was asked why am I supporting Obama ... By comparing the two candidates, my conclusion was the policies Obama will enact will be the result of a considered and intelligent process.
Our convention will showcase a cross-section of leaders who will highlight John McCain's long commitment to putting our country first
