Navajo officials hope money will come their way.

Now that the so-called Bennett Freeze has been lifted, Larry Gordy hopes to rebuild and move his wife and children, including daughter Nizhoonii, 8, back to the family's ranch. Gordy, born on the ranch before his father had to abandon it, says he'll begin this spring, by tilling a field.

This is the land where Larry Gordy was destined to live, until it was made unlivable. The Navajo believe a person always will be tied to the place where his or her umbilical cord is buried. Full Article at The Seattle Times
