Dr. Theo Zwanziger is honored with the Leo Baeck Award for his commitment against xenophobia, discrimination and right-wing extremism in football. The prize, named after German-Jewish scholar and leader of Progressive Judaism Rabbi Leo Baeck (1873-1956), is awarded since 1956 by the Central Council of Jews in Germany.
