The head of Lebanon's Amal movement, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, addresses the crowd during a ceremony held by the Shiite Muslim movement in Beirut on August 31, 2009 to commemorate the disappearance of the former head of the Higher Shiite Council in Lebanon, Imam Musa al-Sadr. Sadr, the founder of the Amal movement which played a major role in Lebanon's civil war between 1975 and 1990, vanished while on a trip to Libya in 1978. Lebanon issued last year an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi over Sadr's disappearance, thirty years earlier.
