Residents stocked up on food and emergency supplies in preparation for a potentially damaging tsunami, after a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit central Chile which sent waves across the Pacific Ocean. Before evening Pacific Time the tsunami warning was canceled by the Tsunami Warning Center. In Chile so far over 100 deaths have been reported with numbers expected to rise.
