LAKE FOREST, CA - DECEMBER 1: Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) (L) and Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren (R) joke before the start of a press conference after they took a public HIV rapid-test at the second annual Global Summit on AIDS and The Church, at Saddleback Church December 1, 2006 in Lake Forest, California. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) also took the public test. Warren, who organized the conference, has drawn criticism for inviting Obama to the conference because of Obama's support of a woman's right to an abortion. Warren founded the Saddleback Church HIV/AIDS Initiative with his wife Kay and authored the popular Christian book, The Purpose-Driven Life. The Warrens embraced Obama after his August visit to Africa where he took a highly-publicized AIDS test.
