Yemenis have lunch at a shop at Souk al-Melh (Salt Market) in the old city of Sanaa on November 8, 2009. Declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1984, Sanaa's old city quarter is an architectural treasure-trove, with its 400-year-old intricately decorated buildings. The old city is also home to the ancient Salt Market and the Great Mosque, which was built in the 7th Century, making it one of the oldest mosques in the world.
