A model of an Emirates A380 is seen at the entrance to Heathrow's central area. Emirates Airline installed a third-scale model of an A380 on the Emirates' Roundabout, formerly known as Concorde Roundabout, Heathrow Airport, London, Wednesday, July 23, 2008. The model, which is the largest in the world is more than twice the size of the Concorde model, which was based at Heathrow for 16 years. The replica was built by US-based Penwal at its manufacturing base in California over a six-month period, using plans provided by the A380's manufacturer, Airbus, in Toulouse.
