Honduras' Foreign Minister Patricia Rodas reads the Organization of American States' (OAS) resolution that readmits Cuba, during the 39th OAS' General Assembly being held in San Pedro Sula, 250 km north of Tegucigalpa on June 3, 2009. The decision, which was reached by consensus, followed concerted moves by the United States to block Havana's return to the group. Cuba was excluded from the OAS in 1962 during the Cold War because of its Soviet bloc ties.
