Will Wright, creator of computer game hits such as SimCity and The Sims, is developing a new life simulation game called SPORE at the Electronic Arts office in Emeryville, California, on March 24, 2008. US videogame publisher Electronic Arts announced on April 8, 2009 that top game designer Will Wright, superstar creator of "The Sims," "SimCity" and "Spore," was leaving the company. EA said Wright was quitting EA to run "Stupid Fan Club," an entertainment think tank developing properties for videogames, movies, television, the Web and toys.
