The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohamed ElBaradei (C), opens on June 15, 2009 in Vienna the UN atomic watchdog's regular June board meeting. Over the next four days, the agency's 35-member board is scheduled to discuss a wide range of topics, including its annual budget; the election of a successor to ElBaradei, who is stepping down in November after 12 years in office.
