Aldo, third baby of Anais and Carlo who both arrived at the zoo in 1989, was born 05 June and weighed 5 kilos. Aldo will weigh between 160 and 275 kilos when he will reach his adult size, unlike the common hippopotamus, who can reach 3 tons. Dwarves hippopotamus spend their discreet wildlife in West Africa.
