National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman returns from a lunch break outside of the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court in Phoenix, Arizona, September 11, 2009. The National Hockey League and Canadian billionaire James Balsillie continue to battle in court, arguing over whether Balsillie's bid for the bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes team should be included in an auction set for today. The judge overseeing the case of the bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes raised the possibility of rejecting both Balsillie's and the National Hockey League's existing bids for the money-losing team. In May the Coyotes team filed for bankruptcy protection.
