"'Come Blow Your This will mark the 149th directorial achievement of DeBono, whose body of work includes many of Simon's other productions, such as "Laughter on the 23rd Floor," several versions of "The Odd Couple," "Plaza Suite" and the highly popular Eugene Trilogy: "Brighton Beach Memoirs," "Biloxi Blues" and "Broadway Bound." "I followed his struggle to break out of being a comic writer ... He made his fame by writing comic plays — he started out on Sid Caesar's 'Your Show of Shows.' But he always wanted to be a more serious writer and he struggled with that. He wrote 'The Gingerbread Lady' (in 1970), a dark, maudlin play about an alcoholic woman.
