In a statement yesterday, Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray said: "We will join with others in arguing that the Court should hold that the people's Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms is fundamental and cannot be denied by state and local governments." In voiding Washington's handgun ban last year, Justice Antonin Scalia suggested that gun rights, like the right to speech, are limited and that many gun-control measures could remain in place.
