Realtor Roy McCann, who was present when Braido made the donation, said that although donations were down notably from last year, Braido's charity gave him reason to pause. "I just thought it was extraordinary, the goodness and the selflessness that this woman was demonstrating (by taking) something from her own collection to make sure some families get a little bit of excitement during the holidays" McCann said.
