But, while Wright is holding out hope for Cayless, the 22-year-old, who will join Cronulla next year, said he was ready to step up should the call come from Anderson. "It's big shoes to fill, and I could never be Nathan Cayless, but if I'm given the opportunity hopefully I can do the team proud" Wright declared. "I've had a little bit of experience, but it's nothing compared to a grand final, so I would have to prepare for it as though it was any other big game and give it my best and if I can get the chance, put my best foot forward and hopefully we can get a win up."
