Jim Jordan, a longtime party strategist, will manage Senate Democrats' independent expenditure program for the fall elections -- a position from which he will direct tens of millions of dollars of spending on television ads, phone banks and direct mail. "It's a pleasure to be back in the fold, and I'm grateful for the confidence in me that Senator [Chuck] Schumer and Senator [Harry] Reid and the [Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee] leadership are showing" Jordan said in a brief interview with The Fix today.
