On the site on Wednesday, Mousavi's wife, Zahra Rahnavard, called for the release of detained Iranians and an end to the crackdown on protesters. "It is my duty to continue legal protests to preserve Iranian rights" Rahnavard said. Many protesters have turned to new techniques in light of the crackdown, such as turning on their car lights at certain hours of the day, honking their horns, holding up posters and shouting from rooftops through the night.
