We had a good week off ... For the most part (at practice), guys are in the spots where they need to be. We have a pretty good understanding of how we’re going to attack people. I think everyone’s excited for what’s ahead.

They’ve always played well on defense – with Zack Thomas and Jason Taylor for a long time. When (Taylor) left the division last year, I thought that would be the end of it, but he came right back this year. That’s not very comforting to have him back there.

Why do I think I’m feeling better? I think, like I said, I don’t think I’ve been hit a whole lot this year ... It’s just been one of those seasons where there haven’t been many sacks. I understand how to take care of my body and get the treatment I need. It’s been a good year thus far.

I think Ron has certainly improved a lot since the end of the preseason ... He’s gotten better at playing the different blocking combinations and different responsibilities that we have in our defense and that we face.

You don’t know exactly where (Taylor) is going to (line up) ... but he’s still explosive. He has a lot of length in the running game. In his pass rush, he’s still got his same speed, speed to power and counters inside, so he’s a tough guy to block.
