He's done a good job since Ben Howland left ... We still haven't got as far as we want in the NCAA Tournament, but as far as the regular-season and Big East Tournament, I think he's done enough. Even with the upsets we had in the tournament, he deserves the extension because he's a proven winner. You know he's going to be in the tournament and have a chance to win. He deserves an extension. All he has to do now is get a national championship.
