I saw pictures of students doing things I'm interested in – working with the San Diego Padres, different basketball games and the Torrey Pines PGA Tour deal ... It's expensive for me to travel, and without having that Facebook connection to make it more real for me it would have been tough. 
It gives me an entrée into a much fuller way of knowing who they are ... I can see what their background is, where they're located, what they studied in college, what their interests are. I can see if they're avid sports fans who might be a good fit for my program.
