(Emily Lenoir) Cause i go to school at United tribes here in Bismarck and i was talking to a lady this morning and she is not sure if she wants to get my daughter the vaccine or not and because she wasnt sure if you get the vaccine are you more susceptible to get it or not (Kirby Krueger/ ND Dept. of Health) "The whole idea behind the vaccines is that they do protect against the infection that they are intended to protect against. So for H1N1 vaccine that is going to protect against H1N1." (Molly Sander/ ND Dept. of Health) "When you are vaccinated it can take you know ten days to two weeks for the vaccine to protect you so some people may get sick in those two weeks and think it is from the vaccine but really it is most likely just a coincidence or they actually were infected prior to the vaccination and that is why the vaccine was not effective right away."
