Emergency personnel were contacting beachfront visitors in RVs and mobile homes Sunday evening warning them of the approaching storm, Ryals said. "We think tropical storm-force winds could be affecting the coastal areas of Alabama and northwest Florida early (this) evening. Then hurricane-force winds could make it to the coast if it holds together ...
