Here are a few of my personal faves: 1995 - Virginia 34, Georgia 27 (Peach Bowl...U.Va.'s Pete Allen brought back kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown with 57 seconds left to give Cavs win) 1996 - Georgia 56, Auburn 49 (four overtimes...Georgia bounced back from 21-point deficit...first overtime game in SEC history and, at the time, the longest game in NCAA history) One of the first players to approach Tech receiver Dyrell Roberts, a Smithfield High graduate, on the sideline Saturday after his critical drop on fourth-and-9 in the fourth quarter was running back Ryan Williams. "I said something to him because the first thing that came to my mind was my first play in the Alabama game, where I dropped a punt return" Williams said. "I told him 'When people make mistakes, it's how you bounce back that's going to define your character as a football player.' I told him that, and he sucked it up and got up and walked away.
