    The message was written by 10-year-old D.J. Holifield of Fitzpatrick, Ala. , and dated July 21, 2009, according to a report in Florida Today. Holifield wrote: "I threw this message in a bottle from the cruise ship Holiday at the Carnival Cruise Lines. We left Mobile, Alabama, visited Progreso, Mexico, and Cozumel, MX. If you find this message, please write back to the address I listed. The message was thrown overboard 1 day after leaving Cozumel, MX heading N in the Caribbean Sea at 20 knots.
