It was O'Sullivan's first big league start since a major flop Aug. 21 in Toronto when he failed to make it through two innings and was demoted to Triple-A. He left with a better taste in his mouth after "The guy we saw tonight was much more in tune with the pitcher who first came up with us," Scioscia said of O'Sullivan, who went 3-0 in his first five big league starts for the Angels in June and July. "That might be my last start of the year ... It's good to leave things on a better note than Toronto." The Angels' fill-in lineup produced 10 hits, continuing the renewed signs of life from the offense.
