Raymond Lesniak (D-Union), whose late support for Sweeney might doom Codey’s chances to keep the Senate presidency, said Codey provides a respite from the vicious back and forth in the governor’s race. "At a time when both gubernatorial candidates are attacking each other, it’s good strategy to remind people of better times in the state with a popular Democratic figure ...
