The 17-year-old member of the hit Disney boyband was suffering from "an upper respiratory infection" according to the band's Twitter page, forcing them to cancel a performance in Zurich on Saturday night. The band tweeted: "We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich - Nick is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing." The added: "This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight."
