"We do not believe the NEPA process will seriously address or question the potential long-term health impacts on people of testing, nuclear or otherwise, at the NTS ... We are instead focusing our efforts to influence Utah's senators, Robert Bennett and Orrin Hatch, to ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty to ensure that the past legacy of nuclear weapons testing is never repeated. We believe this is the best strategic use of our resources in protecting people of our state and beyond from the dangers of fallout."
