The money was raised through a promotion allowing customers to purchase coupon books for the restaurant's Frosty frozen beverage at participating Austin-area Wendy's. Since 1996, Pisces Foods has donated almost $700,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. "We strive to keep (Wendy's founder) Dave Thomas' ideas and beliefs at the heart of the Wendy's culture. One thing that Dave believed was that everyone has responsibility to give something back ... We agree, and being a diabetic myself, I understand the urgency to help find a cure for this disease." The H.E.
