    The European Union (EU) was optimistic that the upcoming Copenhagen climate change summit would end up successfully with many climate change deals being approved by participating countries, EU Council President Carl Bildt said on Monday. "I had conducted talks on climate change issues with the Indian government in New Delhi, with President Barrack Obama in the United States and with Russian leaders. The talks results indicated significantly that they had moved to the rights direction, toward compromises, in the upcoming Copenhagen summit, including in the funding issue" Carl said to the press on the sidelines EU partnership agreement signing with Indonesia held here.
