What, the extension that restores the original functionality doesn't count as a "way to restore the stripped functionality"? And saying "adding features I don't like counts as making your product less functional" is kind of cheating. I really don't understand why everyone hates the awesome bar so much that and broken/less functional extensions, some buggy, broken and others that the creators don't bother to update, not mozilla's fault but still, most of the reason a lot of us geeks use FF is due to the extensions it has...
