Mr. Obama has so far resisted domestic pressure to brand China as a currency manipulator, which could anger a crucial U.S. creditor, and when asked about this in the interview he parried the question. "I think it is important as president of the United States, as we enter into these discussions, that we are looking at all the issues involved and not just one" Mr. Obama said.
