"There's definitely a learning curve and it takes some seat time," Fike said. "It's not easy by any means. If it was, I guess everybody would do it. Both (kinds of racing) are fun, and both give a good sensation when you're in them." While Fike mostly raced on asphalt ovals, Kinser earned his racing diploma on the country's dirt tracks, competing in the World of Outlaws, a top promotion itself.
