Obama wasn't making any predictions Tuesday, although in the hours before the polls closed he did his best to cast Clinton as a struggling candidate who had failed to meet her camp's own expectations. "The theory was they had to blow us out in Texas and Ohio [to win the nomination], and I don't think that's going to happen ... But she's a tenacious and determined candidate, and so . . . we're just going to make sure that we work as hard as we can." The two sides fought tenaciously all night, seeming to play every angle.
