A 12-year-old South Carolina boy who killed his grandparents, blaming Zoloft, might have been better off if his attorneys had been focused on his defense instead of on drawing attention to the possible side effects of antidepressants, one of the boy's lawyers testified Thursday. "The biggest fear that I had was that we needed more perspective from a criminal defense lawyer in South Carolina" Karen Menzies, a civil litigator who was one of several attorneys on Christopher Pittman's original team.
