It's really sad ... I thought we could get it done this season. I thought we had a real shot against Pittsburgh. But when we lost Kimmo (Timonen) and Coby (Braydon Coburn) it was tough to recover. We were so close, but still so far away. Knowing that was my last shot at winning the Stanley Cup is very disappointing. 
Our lives and hour home has been here ... That's why it isn't an easy decision. But I needed to do what's right for myself and at this point in my career this is the right decision.
