In a recent interview with The Guardian, Murdoch says he hopes to have his papers' sites removed from Google's registry as soon as the pay walls go up. "The people who simply just pick up everything and run with it—steal our stories, we say they steal our stories—they just take them...That's Google, that's Microsoft, that's Ask.com, a whole lot of people." But the other side of the coin is that these search sites and aggregators (though Murdoch doesn't seem to know the difference) can also be what drives traffic to your site.
