Washington -- Missouri Rep. Ike Skelton will stand with Republicans in opposing a historic $1.1 trillion health care bill that Democrats plan to debate Saturday. "The American people should be able to look at this bill and say that Congress has done a good job ... This legislation does not accomplish that goal." None of the 177 House Republicans has publicly committed to support the bill, which would extend health insurance to 36 million people who don't have it now.
