I think that Zack Snyder’s 300 was one of the more surprising big hits of recent years, a film that somehow managed a sizeable box office return despite having no stars, an unfashionable genre and setting and that oft-avoided R-rating from the MPAA.

Frank Miller's New 300 Project Revealed At Last!! It's Called XEROX, I Mean, XERXES!!

Miller is preparing a follow-up now titled “Xerxes,” which begins about 10 years before the events of “300,” and Snyder has expressed interest in it as a film property as well. “It’s the battle of Marathon through my lens,” Miller said Wednesday.
