Organizational report: Orioles young pitchers source of hope

The Orioles are counting on Brian Matusz and a number of other young pitchers in 2010. The Orioles opted for a modicum of stability amid their rebuilding by committing long-term money to Brian Roberts and Nick Markakis.

The Orioles are in need of a couple things this offseason. What is the most important thing the O's need to take care of through either free agency or a trade? -- Pat R. , Forest Hill, Md. In past seasons, this would be obvious.

Update: Josh Vitters has been scratched from tonight’s game. Baltimore Orioles’ 3B prospect Josh Bell will replace Vitters on the East roster. Bell was traded to the Orioles in the deal that sent George Sherrill to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
