INDIANAPOLIS -- Whether Lou Piniella wants to come back to the Cubs beyond the 2010 season has not been discussed and is not the team's focus right now, general manager Jim Hendry said Sunday.

After all the drama and speculation last summer about whether Cubs manager Lou Piniella would return for the final year of his contract, it now sounds as though he might be willing to consider staying beyond 2010.

Center fielder: Lou Piniella wants to move Kosuke Fukudome back to right field, which creates an opening in center. In a perfect world, the Cubs will find someone who could lead off and play center.
