Walton underdoes pain-relieving procedure on back

LOS ANGELES — The projected layoff for Luke Walton to be out with the pinched nerve in his back remains the same — at least until late December — but he is hoping for some pain relief now after undergoing a procedure called a facet rhizotomy Wednesday.
