Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee blames the 49ers' coaching staff for a poor game plan against the Packers. Barrows: "The 49ers had what amounted to a second bye week to get ready for a game with all sorts of NFC playoff implications.

The Browns have a wealth of problems. They are 32nd in both passing yards and points scored. I was a big believer of Brady Quinn when he was drafted and I truly felt he could he great. However, his lack of pass accuracy has now convinced me otherwise.

Offense: Another tentative and terrible effort to start the game by the 49ers. This game was a replay of the post-bye week loss to Houston. The more time the 49ers have to prepare, the worse they play.

I tell you what, he's really playing great football ... I saw him (in a Bay-area store) when he left the Raiders, and I talked to him briefly and really didn't know where he was going to end up.
