Wood Memorial tops 29 Aqueduct stakes in 2010

OZONE PARK, N.Y. -- Aqueduct will conduct 29 stakes worth a total of $3,555,000 in the first four months of 2010 as the New York Racing Association on Friday released a partial stakes schedule for next year.

On a rainy and gloomy day at Aqueduct, the main track was labeled fast through three races before being downgraded to good. Racing remained on the grass, which was labeled firm. The main track was sealed for the eighth.
