Miramar's Ronnie Holassie, a two-time Olympic marathoner for his native Trinidad and Tobago, won the sixth annual Palm Beaches Marathon this morning for the second year in a row.

Training today - warm up (15 minutes) then ten minutes fast, followed by five minutes, then three minutes, two minutes and one minute, jogging two minutes between each fast section. Then jog back home. It was raining. Again.

Baked beans, sausages and bacon 2 ½ hours before a race is bad! Improvising rubbing your private area so you can borrow a Kenyan’s Vaseline in the toilet queue is not ideal 10 mins before a race but very amusing! Relaxed and ready to go!
